Density Gradient Data Policy

The density gradients data are supported by NASA Ocean Salinity Science Team. While the data are freely accessible, your acknowledgements help us to demonstrate the value of this dataset to the scientific community. Your acknowledgements are also needed to ensure we get continuous support from NASA to maintain the salinity gradient website. When using these data in a publication, we request that the following acknowledgement be given:

Monthly Data

We provide monthly global density gradient data files using temperatire from GHRSST Level 4 AVHRR_OI Global Blended Sea Surface Temperature Analysis and Salinity from SMOS and SMAP.
