We welcome collaboration on projects that seek to understand and address local or global environmental challenges and address outstanding scientific questions. Our geoscience team combines field observations, remote sensing, modeling, and data analysis to advance actionable science. We also partner with local and international communities through education and outreach, creating opportunities to share knowledge, build capacity, and inspire the next generation of researchers.
ESR emphasizes the individual while providing a unified management and support structure. We provide excellent employee benefits and a flexible approach to our employees. ESR is responsive to the changing work needs of individual employees as their personal circumstances, work interests, and funding availability evolve. Employment at less than full-time (with scaled benefits), and remote working, are options.
Management of contracts and grants, and other administrative services, are provided by the members of our experienced and dedicated management team. Our management team and ESR’s Board of Directors guide organizational development, while scientists remain generally autonomous in managing their own projects.
