Polar Science at ESR

Researchers:

  Laurie Padman (Senior Scientist)
  Robin Muench (Senior Scientist)
  Susan Howard (Research Associate)
Rachael Mueller (PhD student, Oregon State University)

The polar science group at ESR uses a combination of field work, numerical modeling, and satellite remote sensing to improve our understanding of the physical processes affecting the ocean and cryosphere (sea ice, ice shelves, and ice sheets) in the polar regions.
