| Rachael Mueller is a graduate student at Oregon State University. She completed her master's degree on thermohaline intrusions (mixing across ocean fronts) in spring of 2006. After working for a year with Laurie Padman at Earth and Space Research, she returned to OSU in Spring 2007 to complete her Ph.D. Also in the Spring 2007, she was awarded NASA’s Earth and Space Science Fellowship to support a project that will be guided by Laurie to study a combined observational and modeling study of ice-shelf/ocean interactions along the Antarctic Peninsula. Her primary advisor at OSU is Dudley Chelton and her committee members includes Helen Fricker (UCSD), Peter Ruggierro (OSU), Roger Samelson (OSU), and Eric Skyllingstad (OSU).
